At the same time, at the symposium, glass manufacturers and component manufacturers also put forward their demands for uniform specifications as much as possible.

The 3.2mm coating has risen from 28 yuan/square meter in early July to 42 yuan/square meter in mid-November. At the end of October, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology officially issued the "Implementation Measures for Capacity Replacement in the Cement Glass Industry", which clearly included photovoltaic glass in the scope of capacity replacement, and the administrative approval threshold for photovoltaic glass capacity replacement was further raised.

　　 Production capacity expansion is subject to strict supervision, and the price of photovoltaic glass has soared. Downstream module manufacturers cannot bear it. In early November, the six major module giants, including JA Solar, Longji, and Trina, jointly voiced calls for the lifting of restrictions on the expansion of photovoltaic glass production capacity. Industry insiders say that relevant parties are indeed considering breaking the bottleneck of the photovoltaic glass market. The signal given by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology at the symposium is very positive. The production capacity of photovoltaic glass is expected to expand moderately, and leading companies will be the first to benefit.
